The new spiritual home of Ume Burger's much loved Surry Hills venue "Bar Ume" and the Barangaroo institution "Ume Burger", Ume Burger Darling Square is serving up the same Japanese inspired burgers and bar food that made it a 10+ year running fan favourite. From the award-winning Chicken Katsu burger to the deliciously addictive hot chips with Umami seasoning, the menu also features a range of seasonal favourites including the amazing fried brussel sprouts with Kerby Craig's sake lees vinegar dressing, the ubiquitous UME burger and of course the famous Ebi Katsu burger. 

Kerby Craig—six time Good Food Guide hat consecutive winner — together with Joseph Siahaan, the grill specialist and Japanese casual food aficionado, found the inspiration for their now long running project in the street counter-culture of Tokyo.
